Tasting notes

Sourced from old vines at some of Washington’s most special vineyards: Dionysus (1973), Boushey (1980), Upland (1972), and Klipsun (1984). Evermore fuses old world earthiness with the power and muscle of new world cab. Attacks with cedar, spices, chocolate, cassis, and black cherry on the nose. The appearance is classic claret: a beautiful garnet gem, with elegance supported by the silky tannins that deliver fine herbs, black cherry, black currant, cigar box, pencil shavings and crushed stone. Built for a very long life, and mighty fine right now.

Food pairing: Beef or Wild Mushroom Wellington
Movie PairingIt’s a Wonderful Life

If they made 100% cabernet sauvignon in Pauillac, it would taste a lot like Evermore. Elegant with all the stuff, not too much. The 2013 received a 94 point score from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Also, really tasty.
