Tasting notes

The 2016 Evermore was grown on old vines of some of Washington’s most special vineyards: Dionysus (1973) and Klipsun (1984). This wine where the old world meets the new. Its subtle earthiness is woven seamlessly with density and power. On the nose it launches with cherry, Asian spices, cedar, chocolate, and cassis. Its elegance is framed by firm, but silky tannins that deliver a palate packed with black cherry, black currant, cigar box, fine herbs, pencil shavings and crushed stone. Built to outlast us all, but rather lovely just now.

Food Pairing: Beef or Wild Mushroom Wellington

Movie Pairing: It’s a Wonderful Life

FOUNDERS’ NOTES:
If they made 100% cabernet sauvignon in Pauillac, it would taste a lot like Evermore. Elegant with all the stuff, not too much. We poured the lovely 2014 at the Wine Spectator New York Wine Experience to rave reviews. Also, really tasty.
