Tasting notes

Rich, round and polished, with fancy black cherry, mocha espresso and spice flavors that roll on and on onto the rather lengthy finish. Find attached nose bombs of cherry, mocha, plum, barrel spices, anise and herb. The fine tannins, soft and silky, hug it out with a core of black cherry, mint, pomegranate and coffee flavors, a veritable vinous pirouette on the palate. Drink right now or whenever damn good and ready.

Food pairing: Grilled ribeye, sweet onions, Anaheim peppers or shiitake blue cheese walnut ravioli.
Movie pairing: Parenthood

Founders' Notes:
Kindred was first produced in 2008, and is driven by malbec and framed with cabernet sauvignon and merlot. The new label, launched for the 2015 vintage, features an image of a 275 year-old oak tree in McMinnville, Tennessee, where Chris's Dad was born. It remains a lovely kindred wine to the first cabin Bordeaux wines.
