2021 Ruby Leigh Merlot Blend
Tasting notes
2021 Ruby Leigh sports spicy aromas of baking spice, blackberries, vanilla, and sweet oak leading to delicious flavors of black cherry, raspberry, dark chocolate, and cedar. Silky tannins lead to a long, elegant finish. Absolutely beautiful now, this wine is built for a long and remarkable life.

"The really good 2021 Sparkman ‘Ruby Leigh’ Red Wine is mainly Merlot (56%) with smaller parts Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Sagebrush and chocolate notes mingle well with wild blackberry and shades of black licorice on the nose. The palate is smooth and soft with a good sense of finesse. Drink 2025-2035"

"A juicy, fruit-forward red with ripe dark berries, dried sage, spices and wet-earth undertones. Firm and lightly tight on the medium- to full-bodied palate, with a dry, chalky finish. Drink or hold."
