Gaga v.2022 is Touriga Nacional (Portuguese varietal, delish!) in a full-bodied way with aging potential like Cabernet Sauvignon. This mostly unsung varietal is historically a blending grape in Port wine. Our dry version offers aromas of toasted marshmallow, vanilla and nutmeg and has palate-coating and tooth-staining richness of blueberry, plum, blackberry, bittersweet cocoa, mint and violet. The silky texture is supported by fine tannins. Gaga is named after Stella and Ruby’s paternal grandmother PJ.

FOUNDERS’ NOTES:
We started tinkering with Portuguese varietals in 2010 in order to produce a fortified dessert wine, primarily for winemaker dinners. By 2012 we experimented with a dry Ring of Fire Touriga Nacional for our wine club. Bam. So good we did again in 2014 and 2015. All kinds of earthy rich aromatic goodness.
