2022 Underworld Petit Verdot

Our 2022 Underworld Petit Verdot erupts with aromas of black cherries, black currants, tar, dark chocolate, baking spices and fennel. The dense silky palate offers rich flavors of blueberry, blackberry, mineral, dark chocolate, and cigar box. Sourced from two vineyards in the Yakima Valley and White Bluffs AVAs, this is a very limited production wine. Scrumptious and delightful now (decant decant decant!) this fine wine will evolve for a decades.

FOUNDERS’ NOTES:
Underworld was named for the place that Petit Verdot holds in a number of our wines. Sorta sits underneath other leading varietals in a beautifully supporting role. Just a tiny bit adds acidity, color, and flowers. In its 100% varietal bottling, Underworld shows the unique power and intensity of this tiny dark berry. The majority of the fruit has come from Olsen Vineyard each year since its inception in 2010.
