2023 Salish Lodge Rosé
Tasting notes
From the remarkable 2023 vintage, this special wine was created to celebrate our partnership with the extraordinary and historic Salish Lodge. This Syrah/Grenache blend seems like something you might encounter in the sun-drenched hills of Provence. It boasts a nose of red berries, wet stones, and sage. Cherry blossoms, rosemary, ripe peaches, raspberries and citrus erupt from the glass and wash over the palate in a cascade of gorgeosity.
WINEMAKER’S NOTES
Our Assistant Winemaker Seth Wright and Cellar Master Kevin Irving created this unique blend using Olsen Syrah and Sagemoor Grenache from the Campground block, selecting from all the direct press lots of rosé and worked out a blend that is 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache. We ended up partnering with our friends at Salish Lodge where they feature this in their restaurant, rooms, and spa. A small amount of it is available for our guests at the winery as well. We hope you enjoy it!

"The ‘Salish Lodge & Spa’ Rose combines 60% Syrah with the remainder Grenache. Stored in mainly neutral oak barrels, this delivers wild mushroom and cantaloupe notes on the nose alongside shades of cranberry and salty soils. The palate is plush and soft, loaded with juicy red fruits. Drink 2025-2030"
