2021 Underworld Petit Verdot
2021 Underworld Petit Verdot is loaded with aromas of blackberries, black currants, tamari, dark chocolate, Asian spices and licorice. The palate unfolds in an avalanche of black cherry, blackberries, crushed stone, dark chocolate, and cedar. Sourced from three vineyards in the Yakima Valley and White Bluffs AVAs, this is a very limited production wine. Delicious now but designed to endure and evolve for a decade or more.

FOUNDERS’ NOTES:
Underworld was named for the place that Petit Verdot holds in a number of our wines. Sorta sits underneath other leading varietals in a beautifully supporting role. Just a tiny bit adds acidity, color, and flowers. In its 100% varietal bottling, Underworld shows the unique power and intensity of this tiny dark berry. The majority of the fruit has come from Olsen Vineyard each year since its inception in 2010.
