2021 Yonder Cabernet Franc
2021 Yonder Cabernet Franc brandishes a perfume of candied violets, cherry pie, fine Corinthian leather, Asian spices, and a hint of sweet toasty oak. Silky of texture, it’s loaded with pretty flavors of blackberry coulis, black currant, mushroom and dark chocolate. Exuberantly expressive now, it will find its groove and become even more complex in the years to come.
Food Pairing: Roasted chanterelle goat cheese tarte tatin.

FOUNDERS’ NOTES:
In the middle of the 2012 harvest our GM Bryan Keay told us we needed to make a cab franc because everybody wanted us to. It was frankly, the farthest thing from our intentions. Way way over Yonder. So, the responsive, customer centered company that we are, we talked to lots of our supporters and asked them what wine they wanted that we didn't already make. We had 18 at that point. They all said "Cab Franc!" So we made 125 cases and it sold out in three hours. Good call brother.
